August 18, 2006, Newsletter Issue #3: No Space Underneath Swimming Pool Barriers

Tip of the Week

Check your swimming pool barriers to make sure that your child cannot crawl underneath them to get to the pool. There should be a very small space underneath the fence, so your child is not able to squeeze through. There should be limited space between the slats on swimming pool fences. You should check and measure each available space on all of your pool barriers to make sure they cannot be enlarged or manipulated in any way.
