March 9, 2007, Newsletter Issue #30: Above Ground Pools Need Child Safety Barriers

Tip of the Week

Most people do not realize that child safety barriers are just as important for above ground swimming pools as they are for underground pools.

There are different ways to secure the perimeter around an above ground pool, including placing a child safety barrier (such as a baby safety fence) around the stairs or constructing a small fence around the top perimeter of the pool.

Fencing is one of the primary forms of child safety barriers around swimming pool areas and there are a number of different styles and types of fencing to choose from.

Be sure that you choose the type of child safety barrier that is best for your individual pool area.
